WILDSTAR FILMS – Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory – Series 2. (PAPUA, Misool Islands 2022)

Lahuka Film acted as the designated in country partner and sponsor for our shoot in Indonesia for a National Geographic/ Disney+ series. They provided full help and support in the submission phase and advised us at each stage of the process, keeping us fully informed with progress their side.

The company provided the journalist visa and provided fast track and customs clearance on arrival, assisting our crew travelling with over 60 cases of equipment on entry to Indonesia and their onward domestic travel. Again, the team in the UK were kept updated at each stage.

Lahuka Film also provided a fixer for the duration of the shoot to accompany the crew on site, which is now a government requirement and also provided a government registered drone pilot and drone rental.

Communication has been outstanding and all requests/ queries dealt with quickly and thoroughly. We threw a few last minute curve balls at them, but nothing was too much trouble. Clear and detailed quotes were provided throughout and costs were as expected.

Overall, it has been a very positive and productive experience, with confidence that everything was in hand and being dealt with correctly.

Assistance in the film submission stage, monitoring the application until approval, securement of the filming permit prior to arrival in country, provided a meet and greet service in Jakarta, provided safety cover whilst underwater filming in Kakaban Lake, East Kalimantan.

Assistance in the film submission phase, monitoring the application until filming approval, securing filming permit prior to arrival, provided a meet and greet service on arrival, detailed on site planning at the designated film sites prior to crew arrival, organized National Park filming permit for Way Kambas National Park and local filming permits at the Harapan Rainforest Base Camp, Taman Wisata Alam, Cikananga Wildlife Center, Cipaganti and Taman Safari Bogor, provided a translator and accompanied the crew throughout the trip.

LAHUKA supported us during our filming production in Indonesia in November 2016. They help us with the organization in advance and handled travels, accommodation and food for our crew during their three weeks stay in Indonesia. They took good care of our team and all the permissions needed for shooting with animals in the Indonesian National Park and other locations.
