PRIMATE LEGACY INC – IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE TRIMATE (KALIMANTAN 2018)

LAHUKA was absolutely exceptional and we could not be happier with their work. They were flexible, personable, and adept, always one-step-ahead of any issue and made sure our whole shoot was seamless, no matter what obstacles presented themselves.

Even though we were filming in the rain forest, with limited access to communication with the outside world, we always felt secure in the knowledge that LAHUKA was supporting our efforts.

AUCKLAND ZOO – SUMATRAN WEB SERIES
(SUMATRA 2018)

I cannot recommend LAHUKA highly enough. Their support, knowledge and patience was invaluable for making our Sumatran web-series filming trip a success.

From the moment we first made contact they were instantly helpful and continued to go above and beyond throughout the entire process, answering any of our questions and walking us through the requirements.

SILVERBACK FILMS – THE HUNT, HIDE & SEEK
(SULAWESI 2014)

I can highly recommended LAHUKA. They provided efficient and friendly service at a competitive rate, and operate a flexible service and tariff structure to accommodate a wide range of needs ranging from filming permits and customs to more detailed services including provision of expedition logistics, staff and supplies plus administrative support throughout the Indonesian archipelago.

MOONDANCE PRODUCTIONS – THE ZOO
(KALIMANTAN 2017)

Throughout the process, and with very little time to spare to make the trip happen, the support and help given by the team from LAHUKA was exceptional and they proved an invaluable ally in navigating the complicated application process.

From the moment we arrive in Indonesia, we also received fantastic support on the ground, from being met at the airport and helping us through customs to liasing with the local organization on the ground and providing us with all the local information we needed to make things run as smoothly as possible.

SPRINGS FILMS LTD & WERNER HERZOG GMBH – INTO THE INFERNO (SUMATRA & JAVA VOLCANOES 2016)

LAHUKA provided exceptional help and support to the director and team for their two week shoot on location, securing sensitive access to difficult locations and arranged complicated logistics for the crew director all to demanding schedule and within a tight timeframe.

FREE SPIRIT FILMS – ISLANDS IN TIME
(SUMATRA 2016)

I can highly recommend LAHUKA. Their work was exemplary. They are very experienced in dealing with film crews; and able to advise on logistics as well as tackle emergencies as and when they occur. Hendra and his team are the best fixers I have worked with.

BBC DIGITAL – PROJECT HOPE
(SUMATRA 2017) VEHICLE SUPPORT

I worked with the team from (LAHUKA Ltd) on a recent 2-week shoot in Sumatra across four remote locations including at National Parks. The company were very helpful prior to our departure helping to plan logistics and communicating with contributors on the ground, and guiding us through the complicated process of permits and comms with the embassy. The company helped us through every stage, from joining our researcher at the embassy, and even on location meeting the BBC crew in Jakarta to ease them through customs, and joined them through to Sumatra.
